Jack Briggs Memorial Award - Township of Evanturel - Deadline May 31st
This award is presented to a student attending a local secondary school who has contributed - socially, culturally or civically - with proven leadership skills. Consideration will be given to those attending a post-secondary agriculture program.

TransCanada Community Scholarships- Deadline April 15th
TransCanada will be offering a total of 300 scholarships of varying amounts. There are three possible scholarships:
- TransCanada Community Leaders Scholarship (100x$1000) awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their communities through volunteerism, leadership and other activities.
- TransCanada Indigenous Legacy Scholarship (50 x $5000) awarded to Indigenous students studying any academic discipline. This scholarship is renewable... you may continue to receive it every year as long as you remain enrolled.
- TransCanada Trades Scholarship (150X$1000) awarded to students studying trades relevant to the energy industry.

ONTARIO STUDENT VOICE AWARDS - Deadline March 20th
The Ontario Student Trustee Association grants six $500 awards to students who are outstanding achievers in the following categories:

- Entrepreneurial Initiative
- Cultural Involvement

Each year the OHF awards bursaries to outstanding young people who display an incredible amount of commitment both at the arena and in the classroom. The Leonard Foundation provides financial assistance to students who face financial challenges which might impede their ability to attend university. The bursaries are specifically targeted to students whose family income does not exceed $60,000.
